Rugby

We have a proud tradition of rugby excellence at Rautāwhiri - Condors U16 7’s champions 2024, Runners up in the Chiefs Manawa Competition 2023 and 2024. Winners of the Junior 10 aside Bay of Plenty cup 2023 and 2024. Rugby is also an Academy pathway for anyone interested in developing their skills further.

Games are usually played on a Monday or Wednesday afternoon locally and around the Bay of Plenty after school (4pm kick off). 10 aside season is Term 2, Rugby 7’s is Term 4 and Rugby 1st XV can run Term 2 and Term 3. Pre-season training will take place the term before

Fee’s 10 aside - $70-$130 depending on the duration of the season and trips out of Rotorua
Fees for 1st XV vary between $150-$250. Trips will be at an extra cost

Training - usually 2-3 per week in season. Preseason (Term 1 is Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school)

Uniform will be provided and needs to be handed back at the end of the game to be washed.
